It was a beautiful autumn day, the beginning of November, pleasantly warm, ideal for a hike in the northeastern part of the Bodoki mountains. We gathered west of Torja, in the Jajdon valley, drove three kilometers, and then continued our journey on foot. The Burdé roof and the peak of Kőmöge could be seen beautifully to the west. First, we climbed to the top of Élesorr in a beautiful beech forest. Above, from the clearing, there was a wonderful view of the northern ridge of the Bodoki mountains, our destination. We descended, crossed the forest road in the direction of Futásfalva, and then continued on the side ridge of the Szájpes forest towards the main ridge of the mountain range through another wonderful beech forest. From a nearby clearing, we could see the Upper Háromszéki Basin and the surrounding mountains. At the top of the Szárhegy field, we reached the main Bodoki snow ridge, where we were at 1120 meters. From there we had a perfect view of the Olt valley and the peaks of the southern part of the Hargita Mountains. Soon we were standing on the height of the Burdé roof at 1195 meters, from which we had a beautiful view to the east, the northern part of the Háromszéki mountains and the Nemere.

A hard descent followed to the Burdé saddle, where our ridge tour ended. Just before Kőmöge, we turned off in the direction of the Jajdon Valley, where we were preparing to return. We followed a thin path and soon found ourselves in a steep valley, where progress was very difficult due to fallen trees and wet stones. People may have walked in this area a long time ago. Fortunately, this difficult section did not last long, we were able to switch to a more comfortable forest road, on which we could quickly march towards our final destination. Next to the road, we were able to taste a very delicious wine water, and we also discovered the entrance to Pokol Valley, where mofettas and wine waters offer themselves.
