One of the most impressive buildings in Martineni is the Horváth-Lázár mansion. The building was the scene of an unusual event, because on January 15, 1849, in this mansion, the Árapatak Peace Treaty was denounced, which was humiliating for the Szeklers, and the immediate start of the war was decided. The owner of the house was lieutenant-colonel Mátyás Horváth Ignác Horváth. The meeting was attended by, among others, Sándor Gál, Sándor Bíró, Dániel Gál, Antal Macskási, Károly Gyárfás and Mózes Berde.
